Demirhan GÖKBUDAK Born in Turkey in 1998, he started his first violin lessons with Adilhoca Aziz at the age of 8 and graduated from Bilkent University Music Preparatory School in 2016. In the same year, he went to Austria and continued his undergraduate education at Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Professor Lukas Hagen and graduated in 2021. After that, he passed the graduate entrance exam at the same University and successfully graduated in 2024. 

He won Second Prize and "Best Turkish Work Interpretation Award" at the "5th Gülden Turalı Violin Competition" held in Mersin, First Prize at the "Vituoso International Music Competition Grand Prize" held in Austria in 2018, First Prize at İş Sanat's "Shining Stars" series held in Istanbul in 2019, and Special Prize at the "International Classical Pure Viennese Music Competition" held in Vienna in the same year. 

Since the age of 11, he has performed as a soloist with renowned conductors such as Christoph Poppen, Thomas Rösner, Orhun Orhon, Artun Honic, Işın Metin and İbrahim Yazıcı. 

He has worked with masters such as Ivry Gitlis, Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Alexander Markov, Alexander Vinnitski, Vadim Gluzman, Ilya Kaler, Cihat Aşkın, Guy Braunstein, Sergey Ostrovsky and Robin Wilson. 

Among the many esteemed orchestras he has played with are the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, the Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Academic Capital Chamber Orchestra. The works he has interpreted with these orchestras are F.Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, P.I.Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, virtuoso works by P. De, Sarasate, C.Saint-Saens and others. 

In 2025, he released his debut album Drops, a project that reflects his artistic depth and musical maturity. Since 2023, he has been actively working in recording studios, releasing music videos and recordings on various platforms. His repertoire includes works by composers such as Tchaikovsky, Kreisler, Saint-Saëns, Williams, Bach, and others.

As a passionate young musician, he has performed at many national and international festivals; such as International Kısa-Ca Student Film Festival (Award Ceremony Opening Concert); "Musica Mundi International Chamber Music Festival"; Bonn "Beethoven Festival" and "Bilkent Violin Days", Burdur "1st Young Talents Classical Music Festival". 

Since 2019, he has been performing with a bright and modern violin by Hans Pluhar.
